Best Multiboxing Teams

A question you’re going to ask if you’re starting a new multiboxing team is which classes should you play as. This is important as you could be leveling this team from 1-80 and you’ll want a good composition that you also enjoy playing.
You can build a team with multiple characters of the same class, or a team with differing classes. Each extra class in your team gives you more available abilities within your team but also adds complexity to your gameplay. For a new multiboxer I recommend a relatively simple team like 5 shamans or 4 hunters, 1 priest. Also keep in mind your goals with your team. If you are planning on doing heavy PVP you probably want every character to be the same class so you can maximize pure DPS output. If you are interested in running dungeons and heroics with your team, having multiple classes will make this content easier.
5x Shaman
A 5 shaman team is perfect for PVP, allowing you to make use of AOE abilities like Chain Lightning, Fire Nova totem, and Chain Heal, as well as instant casts like Flame Shock. You can also spec one Shaman for resto healing and another for Enhancement tanking if you want to run PVE content.
1x Pally 4x Shaman
This team is similar to the 5 shaman team, but with a protection pally for tanking PVE content. With this buildup you have to rely less on DPS and can allow your tank to take a little more heat.
1x Priest 4x Hunter
Another great PVE team, your holy priest handles healing while 4 hunters dish out DPS and AOEs and let their pets tank.
1x Pally 1x Druid 3x Shaman
A holy trinity of buffs with 3 shaman’s totems, DPS and AOEs with a dedicated druid healing and prot pally tanking.
1x Pally 1x Druid 1x Shaman 2x Mage
The most complex of team builds here, with this setup each class uses different armor at 40 so you can make the most use of boss drops. With this team makeup I recommend speccing your paladin prot, druid as balance, shaman as resto, and mages as fire.
There are many other possible team compositions, this is just to get you thinking. One tip when handling multiple classes, place your dps or AOE skills on the same keys so you can fire them all off at the same time. Make use of /castsequence to setup optimal spammable DPS rotations. Good luck with your new team!
